FALL CLEANUP · WEST SIDE CINCINNATI
Leaf Removal and Fall Cleanup for Cincinnati’s West Side
The leaves come down whether you have a free Saturday or not. Our crews handle leaf removal across Cincinnati’s west side, cut the beds back and haul everything away. We aerate and overseed too, so the lawn comes back thicker in spring.

FALL SERVICES
What Does Your Yard Need Before Winter?
Two things. The leaves need to come off before they mat down, and a tired lawn needs air and seed while there is still time for it to take. We do both.
Fall Cleanup and Leaf Removal
Leaves off the lawn and out of the beds, perennials cut back and everything hauled away. You do not bag a thing.
Core Aeration and Overseeding
We pull plugs of soil to loosen compacted ground, then seed into the openings. It is how a thin lawn thickens up for next year.
Fall cleanup is one of our seasonal services. See finished work in our project gallery.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
What Does a Fall Cleanup Include?
Everything between the last mow and the first snow. We clear the leaves, cut the beds back and take it all with us.
On a wooded west-side lot, that is usually a couple of visits, not one. We schedule them around when your trees actually drop, so you are not paying for a cleanup the week before the oaks let go.
- LawnLeaves cleared from the grass, the edges and the corners where they collect.
- BedsLeaves pulled out of the beds and perennials cut back for winter.
- Haul-OffLeaves and cuttings leave with our crew. Nothing is left in bags by the garage.
Many customers book their Christmas lights on the same call, since the same crews handle both.

A wall is a decision you research for weeks, so how a contractor answers questions matters as much as how they stack block. These neighbors hired us for other projects. We share their words for what they say about working with our crew.

THE FALL CALENDAR
When Should You Schedule Fall Cleanup and Aeration?
Before the leaves pile up, not after. Fall work runs on a calendar, and crews fill in the order people call.
- Early Fall Aeration and overseeding, while the soil is still warm enough for seed to sprout.
- Mid Fall The first leaf visit on wooded lots, once the early trees have dropped.
- Late Fall The final cleanup once the trees are bare, with the beds cut back for winter.
- Before Snow Leaves left matted under snow smother the grass beneath them. The last visit matters most.
Seed has a window. If you call late in the season, we will tell you plainly whether there is still time to overseed this year or whether it should wait.
While we are there, ask us about patios, retaining walls and drainage. Winter is when next year’s projects get planned.
WHERE WE WORK
Serving Cincinnati’s West Side
Our shop and yard sit on Gracely Drive in Sayler Park, so most of our work is a short drive rather than a highway trip. That is why we can get back out to a job the same week instead of the next month.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Common Questions About Leaf Removal in Cincinnati
How much does leaf removal cost in Cincinnati?
It depends on the size of the lot, how many trees you have and how many visits it takes. A small yard with two maples and a wooded half acre are different jobs. We give you a firm quote before we start, and the quote is free.
Do you haul the leaves away?
Yes. Leaves and cuttings leave with our crew on every visit. You do not bag anything and nothing is left for you to deal with afterward.
How many visits does leaf removal take?
One for a yard with a few trees. A wooded west-side lot usually takes a couple, because the trees do not all drop at once. We schedule around when yours come down.
What is core aeration, and does my lawn need it?
Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil out of the lawn so air, water and seed can get into ground that has packed down. Lawns that see foot traffic, sit on heavy soil or look thin and patchy benefit most. If water puddles on your lawn or the ground feels hard underfoot, it is a good candidate.
When is the best time to aerate and overseed in Cincinnati?
Early fall. The soil is still warm enough for seed to sprout, the air has cooled and the new grass has weeks to root before winter. Seed put down too late will not take, so if you are calling late in the season we will tell you whether it is worth doing now or better left until the next window.
Can you aerate and overseed in the same visit?
Yes, and that is how we recommend doing it. Seed that falls into fresh aeration holes makes better contact with the soil than seed scattered on top of the lawn.
