THE SEASONS WE WORK

Seasonal Landscaping Services Across Cincinnati’s West Side

Four times a year a yard needs something different. We run the same crews through all of them, which is why most of our customers book one call in the spring and forget about it until the lights go up.

Spring yard cleanup on a west side Cincinnati property

Spring Cleanup

Beds cleared, leftover leaves hauled off, edges cut back and the lawn set up for the season. It is also the right week to talk about a patio or a wall, because install calendars fill by May.

Fall leaf cleanup at a Cincinnati west side home

Fall Cleanup

Leaves off the lawn and out of the beds, perennials cut back, everything hauled away. On a wooded west side lot this is a couple of visits rather than one, and we schedule around when your trees actually drop.

Christmas Lights

We install, we take them down in January and we store them until next year. You make one decision in the fall and never get on a ladder. Book early and there is an early-bird discount waiting.

Snow & Ice

Plowing and salting for driveways and lots. West side streets are steep enough that a plow guy with a side gig is a bad gamble in January. We also sell road salt by the scoop if you clear your own.

WHY PRIORITY

Built for Hillside Country

Most design-build companies serve the west side from across town. We’re based in it. That matters twice: our crews know how these slopes drain, settle and erode, and our shop on Gracely Drive is minutes from your project, not a highway drive away.

Because of that, we plan every wall, patio and drainage project around the ground it sits on.

  1. DesignPlanned around your slope, your drainage and how you want to live outside.
  2. BuildEngineered and installed by our own crew, minutes from your project.
  3. EnhanceSeasonal care that keeps it looking finished, year after year.

What Seasonal Customers Say

Neighborhood Favorite, Nextdoor 2024 & 2025 Best Landscaping Crew, Cincinnati Magazine 2024 & 2025

Our customers tell it better than we can. One had given up on a yard full of leaves after the cold came. Another said we go “from cutting grass to hanging Christmas lights.” The reviews below come from Google and Facebook as customers post them, filtered to seasonal work.

We had some leaves that we were never able to get around to clean up. The cold came and we gave up. We contacted Johnny and his team and they were able to get the job done in a quick manner. He was polite and professional the whole time! Highly recommend!

This is the first year we were not able to put up our outside Christmas lights. I got a couple bids. Priority's bid was better. But significantly more important was that Johnny was understanding, compassionate and kind. He listened to my needs and concerns and gave me options. He even accommodated some special requests. The day he put up the lights went smoothly. Before he left, he made sure all my questions were answered and assured me he was available if I needed to reach out. I put that to the test that night. He responded immediately and even came out to make sure everything was ok. Wow! I highly recommend using Priority Lawn and Landscape. I know as the need arises we will be contacting him for other services as well. It was a great experience.

WINTER SUPPLY

Stocked Before the Storm

Most places around here sell road salt in bags, and by the time a storm is on the forecast the pallets are gone. We sell it by the scoop out of our yard on Gracely Drive, which as far as we know makes us the only local source doing it that way.

  • $105.80 Road salt, per scoop
  • Free Pickup at our yard on Gracely Drive
  • $50 Delivery within 20 miles

WHERE WE WORK

Serving Cincinnati’s West Side

Our shop and yard sit on Gracely Drive in Sayler Park, so most of our work is a short drive rather than a highway trip. That is why we can get back out to a job the same week instead of the next month.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Seasonal Questions We Get Asked

What counts as seasonal services?

Work that happens on the calendar rather than on a weekly route. Spring cleanup, fall cleanup, Christmas light installation, and snow and ice. Each one has a booking window, and each one fills in the order people call, which is the practical reason to think about November in September.

When should I book Christmas lights?

September or early October. Each fall we run a 15% early-bird discount from mid-September through October 31, and it holds only while the install schedule lasts. After that we book what the calendar allows. Nobody wants to be making this decision the week of Thanksgiving, and by then the good install slots are gone.

Do you take the lights down and store them?

Yes, both. Takedown happens in January and we store everything until the following season, so nothing takes up your garage and nothing has to be untangled next year. One decision in September covers the whole cycle.

Can I get snow removal if you do not already mow for me?

Yes, though it helps to ask early. Plow routes get built before the season starts and they are built around where we already are, so a property near an existing route is easier to add than one on its own. Snow work gets arranged in the fall, not during the first storm.

Can I buy road salt if I clear my own driveway?

Yes. We sell road salt by the scoop at $105.80 out of our yard on Gracely Drive in Sayler Park. Pickup is free, and delivery is $50 within 20 miles. Most places sell salt in bags and run out once a storm is in the forecast, which is the gap this fills.

What does fall cleanup include?

Leaves off the lawn and out of the beds, perennials cut back and everything hauled away rather than piled at the curb. On a wooded lot it usually takes more than one visit, because the trees do not all drop at once. We schedule around your yard rather than a fixed date.
